Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Appointment of Certain Officers
On May 19, 2019, Lex H.T. Van der Ploeg, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer, delivered to Rhythm Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) notice of his intention to resign from his position with the Company effective as of the close of business on June 1, 2019 to start a new business developing devices to assist with learning disabilities, which is of great personal interest to him.
The Company has initiated a search to identify and recruit a candidate to fill this vacancy.
